The product

There's absolutely no denying that curly girls have it harder. From the time it takes to wash, dry and style their curls to the demands of finding the holy trinity of curl products (shampoo, conditioner and a curl cream), we're applauding your efforts every single day. And the least we could do is to come to you with a new trio of products that our members swear work wonders on curls.

Introducing: My Soda Curl Ritual Shampoo, Conditioner and Sculpting Cream

This Aussie-made, plant-based range is here to deliver on hydration. Formulated with a blend of ultra-hydrating oils (coconut and argan) and aloe vera, the seriously moisture-boosting trio are here to keep your curls feeling bouncy and fresh, with the sculpting cream doing the heavy lifting when it comes to soft (no crunchy feeling here) and defined curls. Plus, our members even dished that the range left their strands smelling seriously stunning.

The panel

BEAUTYcrew sent the My Soda Curl Ritual Shampoo, Conditioner and Sculpting Cream to a panel of curly haired women aged 18-45.

The lowdown

The hydrating benefits: Curly hair tends to lack moisture. It's nothing you're doing wrong, but the nature of the pattern makes absorbing and maintaining hydration more difficult. That's why a nourishing, hydrating haircare range is so important. Our members found the plant-based ingredients in this range did an incredible job at actually hydrating their strands.

The incredible smell: Who doesn't want a haircare range that smells incredible? It's in the top three things we look for in our haircare products. Our members let us know that this range smells incredible and leaves them feeling like their strands are noticeably fresh and clean every time they catch a post-wash whiff.

How it defined their curls: Reducing frizz and defining a curl pattern are essential in a curly girl haircare routine. And this range did both. Not only did the hydrating, smoothing ingredients work to keep the frizz at bay, but the nourishing curl cream was able to define their curls, sans the 'gel crunch' texture.

If you have curly hair, you NEED this in your routine! The My Soda Curl Ritual Shampoo is so gentle but it actually does its job — my hair feels clean without that stripped, dry feeling you sometimes get after washing. The coconut oil and argan oil in the formula make such a difference, my hair feels so incredibly soft and smooth straight out of the shower! That post-wash smoothness is REAL, not just a claim on the bottle! My curls are looking more defined even just from the wash step and my frizz has been so much more under control. The coconut fragrance is absolutely DIVINE too my hair smells so good after washing, like genuinely I keep catching whiffs of it and loving it, It’s like that gorgeous warm coconut scent that just lingers and makes you want to wash your hair every day! I use this with the My Soda Sculpting Hair Cream and honestly the two together are a dream team for curly hair. The whole Curl Ritual range is plant-based which is a bonus for me and I love that it’s packed with ingredients that actually care for your hair rather than just cleaning it..

I’ve been using the My Soda Curl Ritual Conditioner alongside the shampoo and it’s such a good combo. It feels really lightweight going on, but still gives my hair the hydration it needs without making it feel heavy or greasy. It helps detangle really easily, especially through the ends, and leaves my hair feeling soft, smooth, and much more manageable. My curls look more defined and I’ve definitely noticed less frizz, even on humid days. I also love that it doesn’t irritate my scalp and has a nice fresh scent that isn’t too strong. It rinses out clean but still leaves that moisturised, healthy feeling behind. For the price, it’s honestly such good value and works way better than I expected. Definitely a great everyday conditioner if you want soft, defined curls without the weight.

My Soda Sculpting Hair Cream has become my go‑to for styling and defining my curls. It adds beautiful shape and hold without any stiffness or crunch, leaving my hair soft, flexible and touchable. My curls look more defined, smooth and frizz‑free while still moving naturally throughout the day. It helps tame flyaways and enhances my curl pattern effortlessly. I also love the scent — fresh, clean and pleasantly subtle. It makes styling easy while keeping curls looking healthy, polished and well cared for.
