I tried Lady Gaga's Haus Labs and these are my honest thoughts

What to buy and what not to buy from the viral brand

Beauty Crew Beauty Editor / April 29 2025

When Lady Gaga launched her own beauty brand in late 2019, it quickly became one of Amazon's best-selling products. But for her fans living in Australia, we often found ourselves searching for Haus Labs dupes to avoid annoying International shipping fees.

However, the perpetual struggle of trying to get our hands on the brand's viral best-sellers (read: the Triclone Skin Tech Foundation, and the Glassy Blush and Balm) is finally over.

Where to buy Haus Labs By Lady Gaga in Australia?

Sephora Australia has just announced that they will be exclusively stocking Haus Labs across Australia and New Zealand.

"Haus Labs is renowned for its commitment to delivering science driven, clean and high-quality makeup products, and we are confident that their exceptional offering will captivate our customers," explained Mark O’Keefe, General Manager Sephora ANZ, via press release. "We can't wait to bring this phenomenal brand exclusively to Sephora ANZ and share the excitement with beauty enthusiasts."

"The Australian and New Zealand market is a critical milestone for Haus Labs By Lady Gaga. We are honoured to be exclusive with the global retail powerhouse, Sephora," shared Haus Labs CEO, Ben Jones. "We are excited to enable new consumers to see, touch and feel our products at Sephora, showing them that Haus Labs By Lady Gaga is a leader at the forefront of art, science, beauty and technology.”

When is Haus Labs launching in Australia?

Haus Labs will officially be available to shop both in-store and online at Sephora from May 1st, including the viral Triclone Skin Tech Foundation in all 51 shades.

The best products from Haus Labs according to BEAUTYcrew's Beauty Editor

1/ Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Medium Coverage Foundation

Not only does this viral foundation boast an impressive ingredient list, but the shade system it uses is very nuanced. There are 51 shades in total, each of which are categorised by their depth (Deep, Medium Deep, Medium, Light Medium, Light or Fair), as well as their undertone (Warm, Cool or Neutral).

Review:

"Medium coverage is not usually my jam — I'm more of a skin tint girl. But the lightweight finish of this stuff has definitely piqued my interest. I love that it doesn't look like I have makeup on my face — my skin just looks really hydrated, radiant and plump all day long. My one and only gripe is that it will settle into fine lines or fade if you don't set it in your 'problem' areas. I don't have particularly oily skin, however if I did I'd have to set this with a loose powder for sure. For now I think I'll just make sure to keep a setting spray on hand on the occasions I want to wear it." — Briar Clark, BEAUTYcrew's Beauty Editor

Key features:

Infused with over 20 skincare ingredients including a patent-pending fermented arnica
Medium, buildable coverage
Brightens and evens skin tone
Longwear performance
Non-comedogenic, and fragrance and talc free
Suitable for all skin types

Available at:

2/ Haus Labs Color Fuse Glassy Blush Balm Stick

If you're well and truly past your blush blindness era, then you'll love this glassy finish blush balm from Haus Labs, which comes in eight shades. It doesn't matter how much you scribble on your face — it always looks natural and blends effortlessly — leaving you with a plump and healthy-looking complexion.

Review:

"I have been wearing and testing this for a few weeks now and I was honestly really surprised by how impressive the formula wears throughout the day. It doesn't make any longevity claims but that didn't stop it from holding on to my face all day long. The colour pay off is fantastic. The shades are sheer but buildable, and blend easily, so applying blush in the morning doesn't take an age like some cream and liquid formulas currently on the market. The thing I'm most obsessed though is the glassy, plump look it gives my cheeks." — Briar Clark, BEAUTYcrew's Beauty Editor

Key features:

Fermented arnica visibly reduces the appearance of redness
Goji berry complex boosts radiance and makes skin look more plump
Fermented green tea supports elasticity
Fermented licorice root soothes and brightens
Plant squalane nourishes and softens
Longwear and fade-resistant

Available at:

3/ Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech™ Concealer

This innovative concealer formula contains brightening niacinamide, soothing fermented arnica, and hydrating hyaluronic acid complex to refresh the complexion and blur imperfections, all while being weightless on the skin.

Review:

"This concealer is beautiful under the eyes. If you deal with chronic dark circles then you'll love this plumping, smoothing, hydrating and brightening formula. The only thing I don't love is that it tends to highlight any texture around my nose or dry patches if I apply it elsewhere on my skin. However, I'd be willing to amp up my lactic acid use for this stuff — it's just so damn pretty on the skin." — Briar Clark, BEAUTYcrew's Beauty Editor

Key features:

Available in 31 shades
Brightens
Plumps and hydrates
Infused with skin care ingredients
Blurs fine lines and imperfections

Available at:

4/ Haus Labs Bio-Radiant Glassy Highlighter Balm

Haus Labs newest export has already taken over TikTok thanks to it's unreal glassy finish. But that's not even the best part, because all six shades have been formulated with a bunch of skin care ingredients that keep the skin hydrated. Plus, it won't disrupt your makeup, if you're applying it on top of a full beat.

Review:

"I'm in love with this stuff. It emulates another favourite in my makeup collection — Chanel's Baume Essential — but I love the slimmer applicator on this more affordable option from Haus Labs. The opalescent finish is also something only Lady Gaga could dream up." — Briar Clark, BEAUTYcrew's Beauty Editor

Key features:

Sea fennel extract mimics the skin smoothing and fortifying benefits of retinol without irritation
Wakame extract helps to strengthen the skin's barrier
Hyaluronic acid promotes moisture retention
Plant squalane helps to nourishes and hydrate
Multi-use body, cheeks, eyes and lips formula
Non-sticky, non-comedogenic, and fragrance-free

Available at:

5/ Haus Labs PhD Hybrid Lip Glaze

Who doesn't love a lip gloss? Especially when said gloss offers shine, plumps lips and boasts a non-sticky finish like this one.

Review:

"I don't know if it's the shade I was wearing (macaron for your reference) or the plumping complex in this stuff, but my lips have never looked better. And I love that I don't have to live through an uncomfortable burning sensation in the pursuit of a plush pout." — Briar Clark, BEAUTYcrew's Beauty Editor

Key features:

Available in six shades
Lip boosting plumping peptide complex enhances natural volume
Lip oil, balm, plumper, and gloss in one product
Hydrates, smooths and nourishes lips
Non-sticky finish

That's not the only new launch we're excited for this year — Madelyn Cline previewed a handful of new and affordable makeup launches at the Vanity Fair Oscars After Party.

Briar Clark got her start in the media industry in 2017, as an intern for Marie Claire and InStyle. Since then, her keen interest in fashion and beauty has landed her gigs as a Digital Content Producer and Beauty Editor with titles like Girlfriend, Refinery29, BEAUTYcrew and beautyheaven. She loves the way seemingly innocuous topics like skin care and style have the ability to put a smile on people’s faces or make them think about themselves a little differently. A big believer in self love and experimentation, Briar has made a point of becoming the Australian beauty industry’s unofficial guinea pig for unusual treatments and daring hair trends. When she’s not testing out the latest beauty launches, Briar is big on broadening her horizons, mostly in the form of food but she’s also partial to travelling to new destinations both near and far (and of course, allocating an extra bag to bring their best beauty offerings home with her).
