The moisturisers your favourite celebs actually put on their faces

Taylor Hill has been pretty open about how difficult it can be when you're a model who struggles with acne, which is why she's very particular about the products she put on her skin — especially when she's working. But, funnily enough, she was actually working on a three day photo shoot when she was introduced to her favourite moisturiser by a makeup artist.

"Usually, I start to break out or get dry by the third day [of shooting], because someone’s using products on me that I’m not used to," she told The Strategist. "By the end of the third day [of using Avène Cicalfate+ Restorative Protective Cream], I was like, 'What is that magical stuff?'. They even noticed. They were like, 'Wow, your skin is looking good. I think your face really likes this product.' I’ve been using it ever since."

"It seems thick when it first comes out of the container. Once you start massaging it in, it absorbs really quickly and thins out. The thickness is because it has zinc in it. It’s a skin-barrier repair cream. It’s great if you’re dealing with acne and healing scars, sun damage, or you overused a toner," she explained. "I use it nightly, because I feel like it restores my skin best then. When I wake up in the morning, I literally feel like my skin is saying, 'Hello, good morning!'."

In a recent instalment of Vogue Beauty Secrets, Gray revealed that she is "the biggest moisturiser girl... I'm obsessed with my skin being moisturised". Her current favourite is from French skincare brand Biologique Recherche, and it's called Crème Dermo-RL. She likes to take a small amount in the palm of her hand and mix it with the DermaQuest Post Laser Balm ($74.25 at SkinMart). The combination of the two helps her to treat redness and improve hydration.

Olsen is a humble queen most of the time, but everyone likes a little luxury every so often, right? The WandaVision star likes to experience hers through her moisturising routine, opting to apply Augustinus Bader's lush 'The Cream' formula to top up her hydration stocks and get her skin silky smooth.

The key to Sweeney's glorious skin? Hydration, and lots of it. The actress is (understandably) a big fan of hyaluronic acid and likes to quench her skin thirst with this rich K-Beauty cream. "I am not joking when I say this makes my skin feel like it is just fluffy and soft and alive," she told Allure. "I was [recently] filming in a very dry state, and this was my saviour."

Considering Culpo’s plump, flawless complexion, it’s no surprise the formula she’s slathering on is of the hydrating and smoothing variety.
