Here’s how to nail the top beauty trends of 2026
From Margot-inspired tresses to seriously glowing skin
In the world of beauty, we’re forever taking inspo from somewhere. Whether it be Zara Larsson’s colourful makeup, the expert tips behind Hailey Bieber’s fluffy brows or screenshotting pics for our 2026 haircuts, we’re always ready for the next trend to emerge.
As we move through the seasons, we rearrange our beauty stashes to keep on top of the trends. Between the copious full makeup bags and the stash of beauty appliances, we’re well prepared to handle whatever trend TikTok throws at us next.
2026 Hair Trends
@brycescarlett
Each season, we see the rise of new cuts and colours. And this season is no different. Currently, we’re taking our inspiration from Margot Robbie's Wuthering Heights press tour, where she put on a masterclass in ultra-romantic curls, from crimped perfection (the ‘90s are calling and we’re answering, with the help of a hair crimper) to the lightest of loose curls. No matter your level of curl commitment, Robbie has given us all something to think about.
Not a fan of curls? No worries. Because we’re also seeing the continuation of the ‘glass skin trend’ being taken to our strands. Yep, glossy, glassy hair has always been the goal (in our eyes at least), and now it’s totally on trend. All it takes is a hair gloss, oil or serum, an impactful hair dryer and a hair straightener to lock it all in place.
At-home skin care tools
@kourtneykardash
There’s no denying that we’re all becoming a lot more educated when it comes to our skin care routines, from knowing what serums work best for our skin to integrating electronic skincare devices into our routines.
We’ve seen a huge rise in the popularity of red light devices, with people desperate to add an LED mask to their at-home routine.
K-Beauty
@lalalalisa_m
ICYMI: K-Beauty is everything right now. And while beauty insiders have been coveting the advanced Korean formulas for a few years, we’ve finally gotten everyone on board the train to seriously glossy skin. And nothing screams glass skin quite like a Korean face mask. Think your usual sheet mask but like 10 times better.
Dermaplaning
Let’s be real, dermaplaning isn’t a new trend, but the act of shaving one's face can always do with a bit of a refresher. So, no matter if your bestie has noticed your mo’ (um, rude), or if you’re looking to glow — hello glass skin — these are your top dermaplaning tips.
First tip: Do not skip the hydration. Opt for a nourishing oil that can help to hydrate while you remove the peach fuzz. Second tip: You’re going to want to use light pressure, as you’re essentially shaving away the top layer of skin too. And finally, invest in a multipack of shavers so that you can replace the blades regularly to keep them as sanitary as possible.
Whether you’re looking for simple skin care solutions or are a pro at incorporating electronic devices into your routine. Kmart has all your beauty solutions in the one easy to see place. All that’s left to do now is decide which trend you’ll try tackle.

Naturally her love for style soon extended to beauty, and Emma landed firmly in the beauty and wellness world thanks to an internship-turned-role at local Australian fragrance brand Maison Blanche. One thing that remained consistent whether unpacking accessories or creating social content? Her commitment to an always-perfect manicure. Luckily, she’s since turned her talents to helping her readers achieve the same, writing about all things beauty and wellness. Emma is now a Content Producer for BEAUTYcrew, with her words and recommendations also appearing across Girlfriend and beautyheaven. Emma loves the process of diving deep into the world of testing (and writing) about everything from haircare to fragrance. When she’s not slathering her skin in something new, she’s going for an early morning stroll to catch a stunning sunrise (coffee in hand, of course), because life’s all about that wellness balance after all.
